This temple is a Hindu templa and is strongly be built at the end of MajapahSt era (around 15th century). The temple is located in the slope of Lawu Mountain, 1496m above sea level temple is administratively located in Cetho hamlet, (Gumeng Village, Jenawi District, Karanganyar Regency). The complex is used by the surrounding people and Hindu pilgrims as a worship altan It is also used as a place for long and deep meditation (bertapa) by some followers of Kejawen belief.
